Hippo (NYSE:HIPO) Stock In Focus Ahead of Q1 Earnings

Home insurance company Hippo (NYSE: HIPO) saw its stock go into a bit of downward spiral on Friday as it ended the day with a decline of as much as 8%.

Market Reaction

On Friday, HIPO stock slid 8.06% to $1.71 with more than 1.51 million shares, compared to its average volume of 2.44 million shares. The stock moved within a range of $1.7000 – 1.8600 after opening trade at $1.82.

Hippo to Report First Quarter Financial Results on May 13, 2022

There was no fresh news about the company on Friday but it may be a good move for investors to consider taking a look at the news with regards to Hippo from back on April 14. At the time, the company announced that it was going to announce its financial results for the first fiscal quarter on May 23, 2022. It was also noted that the results were going to be announced prior to the opening of the markets on that date.

However, that is not all. Hippo also noted that it was going to host a conference call with regards to the financial results on the same day at 8:30 in the morning Eastern Time. A live webcast of the same is going to be made available as well so that investors and analysts could watch the proceedings closely. The company also stated that ti was also going to provide a shareholder letter that is going to be made available through its investor relations section.
